Freshly returned from Amsterdam and the Sneakerness show, the team from the Brussels shop sees its brand evolve and impose itself over time. This event is a golden opportunity for enthusiasts to meet the European leaders in sneakers: "The strength of Check Out is that we are several poles working to develop this concept which is close to our hearts. There is a team, which takes care of the store and sales, purchases and logistics. Another focuses more on marketing and image. And finally, we also have people in accounting and as administrators. Everyone knows its responsibilities and missions and everyone trusts each other." explains a member of Check Out.

To better understand the Check Out universe, you must first take an interest in their approach: finding a rare pair to pass on to an informed customer. Getting your hands on these exceptional products takes time and patience. And a lot of passion. At Check Out everything is in the detail. The store is expected to evolve on a regular basis. On the one hand thanks to the almost daily arrival of novelties and on the other hand thanks to a change of atmosphere. “We have managed to find a rhythm since the beginning of our installation and we want to develop our brand. We will bring new things to the store very regularly. customers will change, maybe the neon will change color too depending on the different times of the year. We want to take our community on a journey and not settle into a routine." indicates the Brussels team.

Tourist VS Purist

Going through the doors of this one-of-a-kind boutique in Brussels will not leave anyone indifferent, whether they are a connoisseur or a simple sneaker lover. The famous American designer Virgil Abloh once spoke of the notions of "tourist and purist". The selection must speak to both a sneaker specialist and a simple passer-by. This mission, the Check Out team seems to have succeeded perfectly. In the shop, customers of different generations, women and men, meet.

The positive feedback encourages the development of the brand new Belgian brand. Projects are in progress and will make it possible throughout the year to encourage the public to discover the Check Out universe. "We like to play with the calendar. There is a form of Americanization that we like with commercial parties. For Halloween, for example, we are thinking about creating a universe in this theme while remaining in detail in terms of layout or colours." explains the marketing expert.

After a particularly successful summer, Check Out continues its momentum. From this autumn, a merch with new products resulting from a collaboration carried out with an Antwerp project will see the light of day. From Levis 501 to flannel made in the USA, the store will offer a fairly wide range, which will be added to the shop's t-shirts, socks and caps.
