Finally smart clothes!
"Cosmetotextiles", "texticaments" or "shapewear", kézaco? The first tissues contain micro-capsules of beauty products that diffuse with friction. The second, same technical principle, but with curative substances. Europe is dragging its feet on this path, for the protection of public health, but Asia is advancing by leaps and bounds. Finally, the third, "shapewear", revisits the principle of our grandmothers' sheaths, aided by ultra-compressive high-tech fibers that promise to lose at least one size.
It is estimated that in 20 years 80% of fabrics will be technical (source FML). The future is now; here are some applications of what is already commercially available:
- Aphrodisiac bedding . For "hot" nights, there are spiced fitted sheets with encapsulated essential oils (Kama-soudrap). Ginger, ylang-ylang and sandalwood gradually diffuse - thanks to friction... - for an energizing and aphrodisiac effect. Conversely, exists in a soothing version, with the Zen pillowcase (Séréni-taie).
- Anti-lice scrunchie . Every school year, the same hassle. Blonde heads take care of unwanted guests: lice. Hence the brilliant invention to appear this fall of the anti-lice darling. Ideally located on the top of little girls' heads, the corkscrew of the textile around the duvet spreads a powerful repellent.
- Moisturizing tights . Remember, 1999, the kick-off: Dim launched the first cosmetic tights. Since then, slimming tights have made a splash and the principle has less glamorous but more therapeutic applications, especially for seniors, based on moisturizing or anti-aging creams.
- Canine bandana. How to calm an overly agitated dog? The French specialists in micro-encapsulation, the company Robert Blondel Cosmétiques, have created the soothing collar-bandana for dogs for a veterinary practice. In the capsules of the fabric, synthetic pheromones of a female dog nursing her young. As regressive as possible, Médor has become wise as an image.
- Tanning t-shirt. To prepare your skin for tanning, promote your tan and make it last, all you need to do is wear a tanning T-shirt and/or leggings for seven days or seven nights (Raison d'être). The micro-capsules stimulate the synthesis of melanin and activate the tanning process. Result: skin prepared for sun exposure, faster and longer lasting tan.
- Slimming thong. Lose weight without doing anything, the dream. Which becomes reality, we hope, thanks to a sheathing thong for the belly which diffuses a slimming treatment (Lytess). Millions of micro-capsules release fat-burning caffeine and mango butter for extra hydration.
- Anti-tennis-elbow cuff. We brush against texticament with the anti-inflammatory cuff (Twubs). Absorbing shocks for motocross practice, it provides good wrist support and diffuses anti-inflammatories to prevent epicondylitis, the famous tennis elbow.
