Top 10: protect yourself from cold on a motorbike without spending too much

Hands: Cold as always ... I tried silk sub-ages last winter but without being really convinced.Lost on the way to mid-November, I will replace them, however.Full leather heating gloves from my favorite brand tempt me (permitting budget) as well as heated handles but I have to pay attention to the electric balance of my R45.I was using-hand protectors on my Suzuki GS450E (1986);Satisfactory solution with two balls but unquestionable in my BMW R45;alternative to exam.I keep an unfavorable prejudice in the sleeves but it is therefore a prejudice.

On the feet: no worries about my R45 and yet my leather botillons are… light.Over thirty years ago, I used ... garden boots with big socks.Scandalously effective but ... scandalous very short! I would be afraid that the feet will slide in the sur-boots. Very light Chinese boots will have only a limited life of life, I will have to find the same thing in suitable quality.I think (seriously) of gendarmerie/police motorcycle boots.

On the body: never had worries on the neck/torso/arm/legs with the waterproof/Canadian isothermal combination used since 1984. Simple cotton shirt with turtleneck underneath ("Turtle Neck"), certainly embellished with a sleeve/long darker damartlast winter. However, I crossed France at the end of November ’21 (frosted motorcycle in the morning) with the Damart ... in the luggage. The neck of this combination firm very well, so never needed a neck but my "Turtle Neck" acts.Like this Mustang® MS-475 is not planned for the motorcycle, I cannot recommend it but that the day comes to appear with please and I will never be cold!In motorcycle equipment, the equivalent would be the American aerostich, most certainly. But as long as my Mustang® does the job…

For the Buee in the helmet, I adopted a pair of yellow glasses a long time ago.Not annoying during the day, reduce the dazzling at night.Never fogging in it since ventilated and the glass being closer to the eye, the focal length is not done and therefore no vision disorder when it rains. Sunlicks in good weather of course. My helmet has (also) its smoked visor but these glasses are more comfortable or at least I am used to it. It is time however that I have these 4 glasses transfer to new mounts because both have done their time. For years ’80s anyway.

For the rest, ride less quickly of course and never hesitate to take a short break for a soup/coffee/hot chocolate/hot chocolate depending on the mood even if when traveling I always transport one in two liters of water (tap).Never alcohol - it goes without saying but it is even better by recalling it.
