First the land considered having a "very high risk".These are Landes pine -sodes, Corsican maquis, Provencal garrigue and medium mountain areas.

Then, the so -called "risk" municipalities which are currently 6,000 in number and mainly located in the south of France.By 2040, they should extend to northern regions, due to global warming.
