1.400 vehicles ordered

6.800 vehicles should have been ordered

Normally, more than 6.800 vehicles that the gendarmerie should have theoretically purchased in 2014, at a cost of 136 million euros to catch up with unrealized forecasts."This result is unfortunately out of reach", regrets Daniel Boisserie.And to explain that "for 2015, the main difficulty will be, once again, to obtain from the start of the year the lifting of reserve.Otherwise, it will be impossible to acquire the 2.000 scheduled vehicles (light vehicles and motorcycles), for an amount of 28 million euros in payment credit ".

The gendarmerie has a fleet of 30.155 vehicles: 23.323 light vehicles, 3.468 motorcycles, 266 public transport, 166 armored vehicles, 619 trucks, 2.313 special vehicles.
