It was on its Twitter account that Decathlon proudly announced the news of its partnership with the American basketball league.
This partnership will result in the sale of NBA branded products. “A range of thermal underwear, accessories and shoes in the colors of the NBA franchises will soon land on our floors!” writes Decathlon. “The products, designed by our Tarmak brand, will be available exclusively in our stores and on our website. See you in March.”

It is therefore the alliance of two commercial empires. On the one hand Decathlon, the northern brand which has 1,200 points of sale worldwide. On the other, the NBA, which broadcasts its matches in 215 countries and generated around $8 billion in revenue in 2018, in particular through the sale of derivative products.
