During their last year of master's, seven journalism students looked at the issues raised by migration in Belgium, under the direction of a journalist from Le Soir. Because the phenomenon is a headache for the authorities, because for several years it has plunged hundreds of people into destitute living conditions, because it arouses an unprecedented commitment from helping citizens, transit migration has quickly found at the heart of the work. This project led by Ihecs and Le Réseau Théophraste, which brings together some twenty French-speaking universities in journalism, is part of an international initiative.
