In her book, Louise answers some very practical questions (choosing your bike; how to get equipped to avoid pain?; riding in the rain; cycling the city …) , gives various tips (to organize a bike hike, to start cycling in the city, to take up a défi sportif …) , offers itineraries to various parts of the world, presents flagship structures and events of women's cycling and tells us stories.

Destinies of cyclists

Louise tells her story of a young woman who has discovered a passion for cycling and has, over the years, expanded her knowledge on the ground. She also gives the floor to other women cyclists, in beautiful portraits, in which they confide in: their passion, the difficulties encountered, the small pleasures of practice …

"it goes from Jacqueline, 85, the 'lady on the bike', to Lael, the best in the world over the long distance, in front of men," Louise illustrates.

Pour les femmes cyclistes, une Lilloise publie un guide pratique sur le vélo au féminin

In this book, women are highlighted in a wide variety of portraits, all of which have a different relationship to cycling and to the encounters that result from it. This can be explained by the fact that respondents have evolved in a variety of settings, at different times.

"for Masomah, an Afghan, who was forbidden to ride a bike, it's not the same problems as for another cyclist who grew up in a country where cycling is much easier. It is this wealth, which is interesting! ", says Louise, who has gathered testimonies through meetings in the community and via social networks.
