The Restos Babies of the Heart

In the 1990s, the association created a structure specifically adapted to young children and their parents: Les Restos Bébés du Cœur. The 70 Restos Bébés du Cœur fulfill a personal assistance mission. It is a welcoming place for babies from birth up to 12 months which makes it possible to respond to the difficulties of young parents and future parents. These are places of reception, sharing and exchanges where parents find material help (clothing, nappies, childcare and hygiene products, games for children and loan of equipment), listening, advice on pediatrics and dietetics, a space for sharing and exchanging with other parents and often experienced volunteers (such as childcare workers, midwives, nurses, pediatricians, social workers). In 2019-2020, 30,000 babies, from birth to 12 months, were welcomed and helped in distribution centers and 70 Restos Bébés du Cœur.
